Major Purpose


Reporting to the UK Sales Manager, the Account Executive is responsible for developing and closing B2B SaaS opportunities. The ideal candidate is a proven hunter and not only aims to reach target but overachieves to set their own records and standards.


A lucrative opportunity for a top producer in an agile company, rapidly moving up in the industry. You must have prior success selling high end SaaS solutions to top executives in a competitive market. You must be a proven hunter and enjoy picking up the phone to develop strong client relationships throughout a sales cycle that can last from weeks to months from initial call to close of business.  You must be a self-starter who is prepared to consistently meet and exceed monthly sales targets. You must have strong closing skills and possess the ability to sell value and not price. You will thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment and have very strong abilities to drive and forecast a healthy sales pipeline. Ideally, you have a strong interest in news, technology, communications, and media.

Key Responsibilities


  • Find and develops new sales opportunities.
  • Immediately follows up inbound leads created via marketing team.
  • Maintain business relationships with existing accounts.
  • Meet specific goals and quotas.
  • Acquire and maintain knowledge of Agility products and services.
  • Collaborate with other sales team members, sharing best practices.
  • Record sales efforts and information in Salesforce.
  • Other duties as required.



  • Bachelor degree in a business related field or a combination of equivalent experience and education an asset.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of software sales experience.
  • Strong Experience in tactical sales.
  • People and customer .skills - especially problem solving - is very important.  
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales revenue targets.
  • Must be aggressive and have the ability to think strategically, communicate flawlessly, collaborate consistently, listen actively, give clear, consistent direction, work efficiently and foster teamwork.
  • Ability to interpret information and translate into actionable items is a must.
  • Strong computer skills in Excel, PowerPoint are necessary.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills with a keen eye to detail.
  • Track record of integrity, honesty and the ability to instill this in others.
