Major Purpose

 

Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Enterprise Account Executive is responsible for developing and closing B2B SaaS opportunities, for major accounts. Our Enterprise team works on selling to our largest clients across a diverse set of industries and verticals and these large Enterprise opportunities, requires a consultative sales approach.  

 

This rewarding opportunity is for a career focused hunter who is eager to create and win opportunities. Someone with at six to eight years experience specifically working with Enterprise level SaaS clients, is required. The ideal candidate is hungry for success, and wants to exceed quota, in a collaborative team environment.

 

The ideal candidate understands sales and how to drive opportunities through a pipeline. Your colleagues describe you as someone who is a go‐getter, high energy, and someone who knows how to get things done. The ability to develop strong client relationships, through a sales cycle that can last a few months, is critical. Experience in reviewing, writing and presenting on in-depth Request for Proposals is also an asset.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Build key strategic relationships with relevant prospects (Director of Communications, VP of Public Relations, etc.)
  • Offer a consultative and solution-focused sales experience to your clients to ensure they have the correct products and services for their needs.
  • This role includes leveraging existing third-party partnerships, to build out the most customized, robust solution for each prospect
  • Review and respond to in-depth Request for Proposals
  • The ability to run many complex sales cycles simultaneously
  • Negotiate and close business deals to meet sales objectives to consistently meet or exceed quota levels
  • Attainment of sales quota, pipeline targets, and accurate sales forecasting.
  • Acquire and maintain knowledge of Agility products and services.
  • Collaborate with other sales team members, sharing best practices.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce to track all customer details, including use cases, purchase time frames, next steps, and forecasting
  • Other duties, as required.

 

Requirements

  • At least six to eight years B2B Sales experience
  • Have at least four years of Enterprise Account Executive experience working with large Enterprise/Major Account, required.
  • The ideal candidate must have strong software sales background.
  • The capability of selling direct to customers, while bringing together various partners to create the ideal customized solution for each prospect, is required.
  • Experience responding to government and private Request for Proposals (RFPs) and asset.
  • Proven ability to manage complex sales cycle, with a track record of successful quota attainment.
  • Strong relationship building and communication skills
  • Ability to discern customer needs, present products /services appropriately and overcome objections in a professional and persuasive manner.
  • Consistent record of meeting/exceeding goals and quotas.
  • Knowledge, adoption, and use of key communications trends such as social networking sites.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal on‐site supervision.
  • Solid team‐player and a willingness to learn.
  • Post Secondary Diploma or Degree an asset
  • Knowledge of the North American media industry an asset
  • PR or Communications industry background an asset
